The KRUPS Kup of Excellence 2008

Every year an expert panel of connoisseurs, restauranteurs and caffeine-addicteurs judge the Krups Kup of Excellence competition. The task is to determine which are the finest independent cafes brewing the best ounce of black gold in the city. Across the country, hundreds of coffee houses have been tried, tasted and visited in an effort to name each city's top spot.

As part of an ongoing commitment to superior tasting espresso and skilled brewing, this prestigious award recognizes independent cafés and the contribution they make to urban culture. Not your typical assembly line brews, the Krups 'Kup of Excellence' celebrates unique environments, aromatic experiences and above all, a real passion for the grind.

This year, we have the distinction of having been selected as Krups' Kup of Excellence 2008 winner for Montreal.
